Hearing my sleeping infant’s breath go in and out, feeling the weight of his little body on my chest, watching him stretch his arms and legs in seemingly slow motion like a mechanical doll….

Leaving the house in the morning “on time” so that we can walk at a leisurely pace.
Holding the hand of each of my two older children, one on each side, while wearing my newborn in a baby bjorn on my chest. Feeling the softness of their skin, listening to their excitement about the first snow and their ensuing day at school, seeing snowflakes… knowing for this moment, all is pure perfection in my world.
